1979 Fender Stratocaster with maple neck. Excellent condition and 100% original. First three frets only show any wear. No buckle rash on backside. Has only a very light scratchmark towards bottom on the back. Front finish has VERY light strum marks which are very hard to see in pictures. The maple neck is MINT with no marks whatsoever on fretboard or bac k of neck. Serial # S964478. Nut is 1 5/8" wide. Guitar weighs 9.2 lbs on digital scale. Looks like this guitar has had very minimal use as the body has no dings or scrapes on the edges of the body as most that I've seen. Plays very well with low action and no buzz all the way up the neck. All controls work smoothly with no scratchiness. 5way selector switch. The tremelo bar is set up with 3 springs. 2 additional springs included in original envelope. Original owners manual and inspection tag are included as is the original polishing cloth. Black coil cord and gray straight cord were in case. I'm not sure which one originally came with the guitar. Original Fender brown cloth/brown leather strap included. Fender hardshell molded case with 4 latches. The only things missing are the ashtray cover and the key for the case. This is really a very nice, almost mint "low mileage" Strat with no issues.
