2005 Les Paul Classic in great condition with Gibson OHSC.  It is a great player and I had it tuned and setup at Sam Ash in Hollywood a few months ago.  It is in great shape with no major defects or problems. It might have a few small scratches but no cracks and minimal fret wear.I bought the guitar a few years ago from Guitar Center and it was only used for play ing at home  it has never been played live!The rest of the time, it has been kept in the case, and no one else has touched it.Very low mileage on this guitar! NeckNo cracks defects or repairs!! Perfect shape.PickupsComes with Semour Duncan Alinco II Pro pickups and grover tuners.  I will include the stock original Gibson pickups in the auction if you want to bring it back to the stock sound. SERIAL number 052029 made in the usa-serial number info from the gibson website Les Paul Classic: This model features an ink stamped serial number with no "MADE IN USA" (just as we used on the original 1952-1960 Les Pauls). Most will be 5 to 6 digits in length, but the earliest examples feature 4 digit serial numbers. There should be a space after the 1st digit with the 4 and 5 digit serial numbers, and no space with the 6 digit numbers.  The 1st digit indicates the year of manufacture for the 4 & 5 digit serial numbers, these were used from 1989-1999. The 1st and 2nd indicate the year of manufacture for the 6 digit serial numbers which we've been using since 2000.  Examples -  9 xxx = 1989 (4 digit number beginning with "9" used only in 1989)  0 xxxx = 1990  9 xxxx = 1999  00xxxx = 2000  05xxxx = 2005Gibson OHSCall latches work fine, combo lock has never been set or used.  There is one small white "scuff' on the bottom which is paint and comes off with a fingernail and some effort.USA shipping only with signature confirmation and insurance includedGuitar is sold as-is, so be sure to look it over as best you can before purchasing.Take a look at the photos, and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. ... If you're looking then you know how rare these were. This in one of the best playing guitars you will ever own in beautiful transluscent purple. Completely original with light player wear but outstanding for a 20 year old guitar. Frets appear to be original and have plenty of life left in them. Neck is a very comfy 60's slim profile with no apoarent breaks visible at the headstock. Finish has some small scratches and dings that are barely visible and a few that are up close but none that jump out at you. I would guess this was one of the earliest of the " classic plus "editions as the book matched maple top is stunningly beautiful. Another hint it may be a classic plus is the covered paf's this model has and I like the tone way better than the uncovered paf classic's and.It is strung with 10,s and stays in tune great. For your  guitar collection  or a second guitar.   This is a 1952  Telecaster  Made in Japan , I made some upgrades  for ex:New CTS 250k Pots ,and vintage cloth wire and a new Mojo Dijon 22nf 630v Capacitor and vintage [103k ] ceramic disk to improve the sound of the guitar, also a new  1/4 Switchcraft Jack, Fender Gold tuning Keys, and a new Glendale heavy duty Cup, a heavy duty 3 way swicht .The Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan and a Fend er 52  Bridge Pickup. Body and Neck and Bigsby From Fender Japan, one more item an ACME  Black Pickguard . The Guitar sounds  Great 100%  Fender 52 Telecaster.  The Neck  has small Vintage Frets almost  in mint condition, The   Neck has a Soft-V- Contour Shape 7.25 radius,   and  easy to play.Now about the condition of the Guitar and Neck.  The neck has two small dents at the very end by the neck pickup area, The Body has two cosmetic cracks only on the paint finish, and a small  finish chip in the neck pocket, and a small wood chip in the neck pocket area , the only way you can see by removing the pickguard.  I used conductive Shield Paint in the cavities ,it helps reduce noise from the pickups, The front finish of the body has some scratches  and some visible lines, you can't hardly see them at all.The Back of the Guitar has 3 coats of Clear  Satin Nitro Finish, I think it sounds better.The Guitar c omes in a Hard Fender USA Case, and will be very well protected in a Big Guitar Box.   The Shipping will be  Around 50.00 Dollars. . This was my baby for many years. I played out with it occasionally, played at home often, and took great care of it. It's basic tone is phenomenal, and the body has tremendous resonance all by itself. I bought it around 2000, and played every Strat in the store before picking this one out. The color is awesome, it's called Shorel ine Gold, and is a very tasteful shade in between silver and gold, understated but with character. Mother of toilet seat pickguard. Three MAJOR upgrades to this instrument:1. Kinman Hx PickupsOriginal fender issue texas special pickups have been replaced with Kinman Hx silent single coils. If you are not familiar with these, they are amazing true single coil pickups that are hum free. They're not stacked hum buckers like cheaper "silent singles," they use a much more involved and costly process to remove the hum from the signal chain yet retain all the great qualities about single coil pickups. The cavity has also been shielded with copper tape, a very lengthy process. Bottom line, the pickups deliver "that" tone without any of the noise!2. L.R. Baggs X-BridgeThis is the secret weapon in this guitar. What looks and behaves like a standard tremolo-bridge has the fantastic LR Baggs X-Bridge installed which acts as a piezo pickup. It has an onboard preamp to balance o ut the signal, and the electric and acoustic signals can either be bl ended, toggled between or sent to two separate outputs via a stereo input jack. On the controls you can see the recessed pushbutton that either splits or mixes the signals, and the 3-way toggle switch that chooses electric, acoustic or both. You read that right. You can have a killer, silent electric guitar signal come out the tip, an acoustic guitar sound come out the ring, process the signals separately, then toggle between them right on the guitar. It's a super versatile and cool addition that makes you this guitar a powerhouse.3. Bridge Pickup on Push/Pull PotA simple upgrade but equally versatile, I had a push/pull pot installed on the bottom tone knob to activate the bridge pickup in any position, so that you can get those tele-like neck and bridge tones, as well as all three pickups together which is a surprisingly great sound that I used all the time. This allows for every possible pickup combination on your start. Excited yet? The neck is all maple wit h the skunk stripe, fast and thin (but not *too* thin) and really lets this guitar smoke. The tone is bright and true to a strat but with a woody and characterful sound that is just what you hope for from a strat. Moderate fret wear from years of love, but nothing is fretting out and it still has years of play in it before a fret level would be needed. Other than that, not much to say.
