You are looking at a Fender Masterbuilt Stratocaster hand built by Master builder Mark Kendrick. From what I've seen, it's pretty unique to have a Floyd Rose trem and 2 Seymour Duncan humbuckers on a Masterbuilt guitar. From what I've been able to find out from Fender, it was built about 5 years ago, but they couldn't give me any specs. It doe sn't have the original case candy, but does have the original case, strap locks and trem bar. It truly plays like a dream. This is the best playing neck I've ever played, as well as the best looking - tons of bird's eye figuring on the 'C' profile neck. The fingerboard is fairly glossy, with more of a satin feel on the back of the neck. There is zero fret wear on the stainless steel frets. The only wear I've seen is at the edge of the fingerboard at the 4th fret, treble side (see picture). Looking inside the back plate, the wood grain looks to be ash, which is what I was told it is. It has a lacquer finish body over the vintage white color and a matching headstock. I know it no longer has the usual case candy of a custom Masterbuilt guitar, but with no reserve, this is a chance to get an absolute steal on an amazing one-off Mark Kendrick Strat! It is a rock guitar! Of course, you could put anything you wanted in it, but it is routed for 2 humbuckers, only (plus, I wouldn't want to put the router to a master built guitar). The rest of the neck plate inscription has the serial number as well as for whom the guitar was Master Built.
