A pre-owned Gibson Custom Shop Dickey Betts SG with a great looking vintage red finish. This run was built to commemorate the SG which Betts gave to co-guitarist Duane Allman onstage to use solely as a slide guitar, so that Betts wouldn't have to wait for Allman to switch up the tuning on his Les Paul. Features on this Betts SG are a 1-piece mahogany body, quartersawn mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and a custom Dickey Betts neck profile, banjo fret wire, a 1.687" nut width, 12" fretboard radius, Custom Bucker Alnico III humbuckers, individual volume and tone controls, an ABR-1 bridge with plastic saddles, an add-on wraparound tailpiece, classic-style tuners, and chrome hardware. This Dickey Betts SG is in great shape, with only some very minor surface marks around the body if you really hunt for them. There are no deep scratches, or dings to ruin the looks or playability of the guitar. The guitar does not include the warranty, however it does include the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, and collage poster.
