The Flying V 1968 Faded is a version of the V made as a faithful reproduction of the reintroduced Flying V from 1967. Has a beautiful faded finish, called worn cherry, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, and 496R and 500T humbucking pickups. The serial number dates this guitar to 2005. From what I can tell, Gibson ei ther no longer makes this guitar or just calls it the Flying V Faded these days. It still has the plastic cover on the pick guard, visible in the pictures below. The only flaw of any sort I could find is a tiny dent on the back of the neck, pictured below.Includes original Gibson gig bag, also in excellent condition.
