Guitar Info: This guitar is from the American Deluxe Series made at the Corona Plant (Fender), USAin the Year(s): 2005OK, here's the deal on probably the nicest strat here on ebay.  I have 3 strats in my studio. An American Strat Plus Deluxe in Azure Blue, a Roland factory equipped strat in black, and thi s American Deluxe Strat HSS.  I need to keep the Roland because its so useful in the studio. My Strat Plus Deluxe is the prettiest blue with a maple fretboard.  So, when I decided to let one go the only reason I picked this one is I already have the Roland in Black.  That's it pure and simple. I couldn't make up my mind so the color issue won.  To prove my point I've included a picture of all three of the strats, the black Deluxe, the blue Plus, and the black Roland.This Ameican Deluxe is better than mint. Set up by Scotty Nathan of Scotty's Guitar Works, www.buycustomguitars.com its PERFECT!  I went over it from top to bottom and can not find anything even a minor defect. Its the sexiest looking strat with the black on black and the maple fretboard. I REALLY hate letting this one go.  I bought it, took it to Scotty for a set up, brought it home to the studio and played for about an hour or so. Then it went back in the case and onto the rac k.  It got played very seldom because its just so pretty I hated to use it. That's it.I'm not a live player anymore and the Passing Lane feature isn't important to me. But if you are playing live, aside from everyone wanting to come touch this axe while you're playing, the Passing Lane button inside the top volume knob is a killer feature.  It bypasses all the tone settings and no matter which pickup switch position you're in will default to the bridge humbucker and bypass all tone settings.  That extra set of coils in the humbucker kicks up the range for those solos in just the right amount.  Then tap it with your little finger and you're back to whatever tone combo you were using before your solo.  Neat!  Factory Fender violin case does show a few scuffs, etc. Still in very, very nice condition.  At this moment I can not find the tremelo arm.  If Scotty doesn't have it its probably here in my studio somewhere, I never use them.  I'll either locate it and include when I ship or take $20 off the win ning price at the end of the auction.  In addition, I have several Fender cases here as well. I can not guarantee this is the case that originally came with the guitar but it is a 100% factory Fender case and one of the better ones I have. One person pointed out to me that Fender did not ...
