2006 Gibson SG Standard in natural finish, with the original Gibson hard shell case. #: 019960534History/Background: I purchased this guitar in 2010 from the original owner, he bought it brand new from Guitar Center and he had them install the EMG's which are currently on the guitar. I have owned the guitar since 2010 and most recently it has been professionally set up by t he local guitar shop in Tuscaloosa and I will be changing the strings on it this week. The Bad: Lets start with the bad. There are very few things that are bad on this guitar, the only things I can find wrong with it is that there is a light buckle rash on the backside, very common, but it is so light that I can't really even get a good picture of it. I put my best two pictures of the backside of the guitar on the listing. Also, there are some light pick scratches on the pick guard, I don't know if you can see them in the pictures but there are some there. The case has a few dings here and there (few small rips, no bigger than 1/8th of an inch). Only other thing I can find is that the screws have a little bit of patina on them, again a common Gibson flaw. The Good: Other than the fact that it's in near mint condition, here's all the good things about the guitar. It comes with the original hard shell case with the lock still set at 0-0-0 with the red insert fro m the factory. The guitar had been professionally set up in August of 2012. The frets show little to no wear. The EMG's have a great unique tone! I'll be changing the stings this week so it will have brand new strings on it when it get to your home!Don't miss out on this great deal!
