Beautiful 1988 Gibson ES175 Mahogany in perfect condition. Nice straight neck setup to very low action. Great playing guitar. The combination spruce top and mahogany back and sides help this instrument to create an exceptionally warm, jazzy sound. Really nice cosmetic condition with no cracks, dings or repairs. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Strung with 12 g. flatwound strings. I'm not a Gibson specialist or dealer, but I'm assuming this is the original case. The handle has been repaired. This instrument plays very nicely and seems to make those tough licks or difficult chords a bit easier to handle. The recently polished frets, low setup and flat wound strings make the fretboard plays like glass. Very smooth. For more specifics on this guitar, please check Gibson.com or a Gibson forum. I believe the scale is 24-3/4", with a 1-11/16" nut. I've added a set of "Doug's Plugs" ($65), which eliminates about 98% of any feedback issues. Amazing! I recommend these for any archtop electric guitar. These foam plugs are custom made to friction fit in the "f" holes and can be easily removed. Send any questions and happy bidding. BTW. Sorry for the extra expense for handling costs. I take this very seriously and sometimes end up spending more for packing than I charge. I want this guitar to make its journey without incident.
