HERE'S A SUPERB 60S ERA GIBSON ES-140T ALL ORIGINAL IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. THIS GUITAR WAS IN THE CLOSET OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER FROM THE 60S UNTIL I BOUGHT IT LAST YEAR TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION OF TRAVEL, 3/4 SIZE GUITARS. I'VE SINCE DECIDED TO SELL THIS COLLECTION. THE FINISH ON THIS ES140 IS NEAR 100% (THERE IS A VERY MINOR HAIRLINE CHECK IN THE FINISH IN THE CUTAWAY). THERE ARE A FEW DINGS IN THE TOP RIM LOWER BOUT. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL INSTRUMENT. THE ORIGINAL P90 IS PERFECT AND SOUNDS GREAT. THE NECK IS STRAIGHT, ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD LIKE NEW AS ARE ALL THE FRETS. THE TOP OF THE ROD BROKE OFF, HOWEVER ALL NOTES ARE PRESENT BUT FOR A BUZZ ON D FRET 15 AND JUST A SLIGHT BUZZ ON G AND A FRET 15. PLEASE LOOK AT THE YOUTUBE LISTED BELOW FOR COMPLETE DETAIL. THANK YOU FOR BIDDING. GOOD LUCK. It consisted of numbers that are impressed into the wood. It is also generally known to be the most frustrating and hard to understand system that Gibson has employed. The numbers were used between the years 1961-1969. There are several instances where batches of numbers are switched in order, duplicated, not just once, but up to four times, and seem to be randomly assigned, throughout the decade. In general though, the numbers are approximately as follows: APPROXIMATE YEAR SERIAL RANGE Phone Number0 1962 42441-61180 1963 61450-64220 1964 64240-70500 1962 71180-96600 ... Click for more info
