2006 USA Fender American Standard StratocasterUp for auction is a very clean American Standard Strat from 2006 in beautiful Sienna-burst finish . There are some minor dings and marks (please look at the pics below) but it is otherwise in mint condition. It has S-1 switching which is now only available on Deluxe strats. It is HSS configuration. The only modification is the stock Fender Humbuckin g pickup was replaced with a Seymour Duncan SH-5 Custom. The original pickup is no longer working, but will be included in the auction. I believe one of the windings is broken at the contacts, but all 4 contacts are potted in wax. If you wanted to investigate further you could probably fix it and re-pot it. Needless to say, it's been replaced and I will include the original. This repair was done by me and everything was soldered back to point of contact. No splices or electrical tape. The frets are starting to show a little grooving, but nothing major yet that would require a fret level. The fretboard is a beautiful piece of rosewood that has been thoroughly cleaned as well as the frets polished. It has a 9.5 radius with a medium C profile. The nice Ash grain can be seen through the stunning Sienna-burst finish. The whole guitar has been completely gone through and refurbished. It has been completely setup by me at my shop. There is no back cover. The guitar comes with a Fen der ABS hard case and comes with the original trem bar. I will also i nclude a spec sheet from Fender with all the specs including the S-1 switching diagram. The guitar will be packed safely by me.
