2002 Gibson Les Paul Studio ... This guitar was purchased used and in excellent condition from the largest music store in Lansing.. This particular guitar is on the heavy side, with a chunky neck.. (NOT THE SLIM TAPER) the tuners were upgraded to Grover, the bridge saddles are graphite.. they said the nut was a "name brand graphite nut".. it appears to be an Earvana nut, unless someone else is making this type..th e store never said what it was, just name brand.. having said that it is compensated which is a great tuning improvement, at least on the open chords (easily changed back to bone by a competent luthier .. (local guy here charges 80 bucks and does a fantastic job) .. the frets are like new, the neck is straight, plays great just like it is... the body is in great shape, only obvious flaw is a scuff on the lower bout bottom side (where you do not see unless you look for it) nothing bad at all about this guitar, great player, great looker, great TONE! .. the pick guard has a small crack at top screw but should be removed to show the guitars beautiful top.. original case with the lock still not set in great shape.. I will be adding pictures when the sun comes back outNOTE: I have guitar boxes but they have been stored in a pole barn for some time in a less than ideal environment.. I will wrap the entire case in plastic so it won't be an issue. BUT if you are one to complain about the box, please DO NOT BID!
