The Raw Power is a tone monster. Gibson took the standard Les Paul design and tweaked it into a whole new beast. The body is chambered maple with a carved maple top- the chambering gives this guitar exceptional resonance and the maple adds some sweet higher end frequencies. The '59 profile mahogany neck is exceptionally comfortable and adds great tone transfer. The dual '57 Classic humbuckers bring you all that sweet Gibson PAF tone with a but more output. This results in beautiful cleans and incredible crunch. The chrome hardware set against the satin Silverburst finish makes for an impressive look for sure. This is in excellent condition- some pick marks on the 'guard- nothing else to report. The frets are clean- just profe ssionally set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret. This auction includes the original Gibson gig bag. This is your chance to get your hands on one of the coolest guitars to ever come out of Gibson.
