This is a Fender Stratocaster with a white blonde thin nitro finish Eric Johnson body, it has some wear, a small pin hole around trem springs rear and two by the selector switch. It had a 62 pickguard but now is returned to the 57 EJ set up. The pickups are Eric Johnson pickups and the electronics have been upgraded to the same specs that EJ uses on his 54-57 strats called the Virginia Custom Shop Ha rness Upgrade. This includes a 300k EJ CTS Vintage Style custom taper pot, and 250k Vintage Style custom taper tone pots with the C-D .1MFD/UF @ 150volt wax "1950's Phonebook" Repro Capacitor. Also with the "True Floating Wire" non-contact cloth shielded construction. The same Tone control setup that EJ uses. The bridge is the 62 big block. The neck is the allparts 65 style Bound Rosewood with a Graphite nut and Kluson Tuners. The guitar looks like a closet find 65 strat but has the sweet upgrades of a hotrod, Plays and sounds Amazing!
