Fender USA '52 Telecaster Reissue Electric Guitar with Original Fender Tweed CaseAuction includes a Fender micro amp, original factory hang tags/brochures, cable, and a leather ended strap. Purchased at Golden Age Guitars in Westfield, New Jersey and used exclusively in a smoke free recording studio. Action is A to A+, strings retain their pitch extremely well. Having owned and played my share of '52 Tele reissues, the pickups in this one are, to me, A+. The bridge is not too bright, and voices the strings well. Of all of the 52 Reissue Telecasters I've owned, this guitar's middle and neck positions are the best. they're not nearly as dull as the other guitars', and have better voice than even an 80's '52 Reissue I had owned. It's neck has no considerable nicks or dings. Frets show wear, however, have plenty of life left. Body finish has buckle rash, and wear where right arm hangs over the front edge of the guitar. Pick guard/neck plate have minor surface scratching on them from normal use. I had not been able to find any rust or pitting on the metal/chrome of this guitar. The bridge is in great shape, and the brass saddles do not have deep ruts that they can develop over time. Because of the playing condition of this guitar, I'd opted not to remove the ne ck for signatures/dating, nor the electronics plate. It's original Fe nder thermometer tweed case is near mint condition, with it's key included. The fender Micro amp is in playing order, however, it does not have its back battery plate. Leather ended strap is made in Canada - keep North American manufacturing strong! Feel welcome to ask any questions.
