Gibson SG Special Faded Ebony, Triple Humbuckers and Unique ColorThe three humbuckers on this guitar give it a really full and unique sound, and this finish and style was a very limited offering by Gibson. I have received countless compliments of the unique "faded" look of the finish contrasted against the white fretboard.This guitar has been used in practice and on stage and has cosmetic wear representative of that. There are some small dents and scuffs, notably where the straps attach to the body and where the back of the guitar may have rubbed against a belt buckle. The tone potentiometer is functional, but the knob itself is missing and a piece of the shaft is broken off and may not hold a knob securely in place (potentiometer replacement should be an inexpensive fix). I have tried my best to take pictures of all necessary angles to see any wear or imperfections present.I have not played it in a number of years. Since I have two young children, the guitar has just been sitting in a bedroom closet, unplayed. I can imagine this guitar needs a good once-over and tune up, but can be easily brought into excellent functional/playable condition. I am sorry to see this go, but I just do not have the time to play and am looking for some extra money during this holiday season.
