This is the  Gibson USA ES137C electric guitar. 24.75" scale. 1 11/16" nut width. 15 7/8" bottom bout. 2 3/16" deep. The ES137C is a true testament to Gibson's brilliance. Based on the 135 body shape, the 137C takes everything a step further. Beautiful figured maple top, back, & sides with a '59 shaped maple neck for amazing aesthetics and a great feel. The solid center block and 498/490 humbuckers make this exceptionally versatile. The semi hollow design enables a great natural acoustic resonance- this makes for big warm cleans- including sweet jazz neck tones. Because the humbuckers sit in the center block, you can feel free to add overdrive. Overdriving these two Gibson humbuckers results in a multi-dimensional sound, rich in mids. The 498 is perfect for tight rhythms and searing leads. The 490 in the neck brings incredible sustain to the table. The '59 neck profile here is incredible comfortable- .87" deep at the 5th fret with a flat C profile. Add to that the 12" freboard radius and deep body cutaway and you have command of the entire board. The look here is just exceptional- Cherry Sunburst finish showing off the highly figured top, back, & sides, multi-ply body binding, fully bound neck, and gold hardware. This 137 is in excellent condition- a few small marks that wouldn't show in pics and a few marks on the headstock face that are visible in pics. The frets are clean- just professionally set up with action of 3/32" at the 12th fret.
