1991 FENDER USA STRATOCASTER DELUXE PLUS GUITARAsh Body, Blue Burst Finish, Lace Sensor Pickups, Roller Nut, Original Hardshell CaseWORLDWIDE SHIPPING AVAILABLE This a 1991 Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Plus guitar, made in Corona, CA, USA. All original parts. Even thought the serial number is an E9, neck date and pot codes shows a Jan 1991 build date (pictures of the date stamps below). The Strat Plus Series was introduced by Fender in 1987 and was the highest end production model next to Fender's Custom Shop guitars. The Plus Deluxe was the top end of this series and was the predecessor of the original Jeff Beck signature model guitar. This Strat Plus is basically a hotrodded American Standard: it retains the alder body, maple neck, and modern tremolo bridge but adds three Lace Sensor pickups (single coil tone with higher output and no noise, ), LSR roller nut and Schaller locking tuners (for greater tuning stability). The Strat Plus Deluxe adds ash top and back, transparent finish, Red (bridge), Silver (middle) and a Blue (neck) Lace Sensor single coil pickups. Other than those, just light finish scratches and swirling from normal playing. The frets are in very good condition (just light play wear, no grooves or flat spots that affect playability). The neck is straight, truss rod works in both directions, the action has been set low with a new set of strings and the guitar plays beautifully. The original Fender red badge molded hardshell case is included. The guitar will be very well packed and fully insured.
