This is a 1997 Fender Telecaster Plus (Version 2) electric guitar, made in Corona, CA. All original - neck dates and potentiometer codes have been verified on this guitar.   The Verison 1 Tele Plus Series was introduced by Fender in 1989; it's was meant as a hotrodded American Standard Tele. It retains the classic Tele body Shape, maple neck, and modern bridge but added Lace Sensor pickups, which give higher output and less noise than standard pickups with a custom switching system. The Telecaster Plus (Version Two) comes with three single coil Lace Sensor Gold pickups (Nashville Style).
