Selling my 93 Fender American Standard Stratocaster...which I know I'll regret. Has the nicest neck ever. I would guess it's a standard C neck...not too thin and not too thick...just right, with plenty of meat! Neck has a great satin feel and shows little use; frets are medium jumbos with years and y ears of life left in them. This guitar was not used much over the past 19 years and it shows. Yes, it has typical light scratches on the pickguard and back, but you have to really shine a light on this axe to see them! The color is very rare Caribbean Mist and almost never seen for sale. It's a sort of turquoise and is simply stunning with the hard maple fretboard. Truss rod works well and new strings (10s) and pro-set-up were done several months ago (so that saves you $65 right there!). In 93 this guitar shipped with a boxy plastic case, but I've substituted an up-scale Fender hard case with orange lining...much nicer and a lot classier. Guitar is all original including the tremolo arm. Pups and pots are stock. 5 position switch takes you from Clapton, to SRV, to Beck, and it can get countryfied too. Guitar weighs in at 8 lbs. What can I say, it's an original American Standard Strat in a cool color with little use. I hate to see it go. Selling, with very reasonable reserve, only to the lower 48 states; Shipping and insurance is $45. I've bee n selling for over a decade and maintain a 100% positive feedback score.
