You are viewing a super clean Crafted in Japan 2007 Fender J. Mascis Signature Model Jazzmaster. I am the original owner and bought it the first year they were out. I also bought a G&G Jazzmaster case for it, which as you know isn't cheap. I can't find a mark anywhere on the guitar. There maybe some glares in the photos becaus e it was really sunny today. Again, no marks anywhere. I would call it near mint only because it has been handled. I mainly bought it as collector piece. The only thing I really ever did was restring it with .10's and throw Dunlop straplocks on it. I did remove the clear plasic from the pickguard and pickups when I first received it. I has rarely been played. This guitar does play better than the reissue Jazzmasters. The satin neck is nice and comfortable. The jumbo frets make string bending much easier than the typical vintage frets. The pickups are a little hotter than the pickups typical reissue guitars come with.
