Up for grabs is this very nice, and very clean, 2011 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. When this guitar first came to our store, I could have sworn that the original owner took the plastic off the pickguard and trem cover and then sold it to us without ever playing it. Since it has been in our store, it has been set up and subesquently played by several individuals. Consequently, the guitar now has some playing wear. A few scratches on the front and back but nothing that a little rubbing compound and some patience with a good buffing wheel wouldn't take care off. On the back of the guitar, you can see some of the wood grain in the finish which at first glance might look like dents but there is no sign of trauma to the finish. This guitar is a great playing instrument too. I am typically not a big fan of the more modern 2 point trem style prefering the sound of the vintage units, but this guitar looks great, plays great, and sounds great. When plugged in, it definately gives you all of the classic Stratocaster tones from it's 3 single coil pickups. The neck is nice and straight, and the frets show very little wear. Also included in this auction is the original hardshell case and all the original materials that shipped with the guitar. Including a strap, polish cloth, wrenches, owners manual, whammy bar and more. Many of them don't appear to have been used at all. This is definately a great deal for anybody looking for a classic looking American made instrument. You won't be disappointed in the quality of this guitar once you get it.
