This incredible 1958 Gibson Custom Shop Flying V was ordered by me through Gibson. When I ordered this guitar I also ordered a matching 1958 Explorer with a sequential serial number. How cool is that? This guitar was not part of a series, I ordered it individually. The body is one piece mahogany, the neck shape is a large 1958 spec with a standard Gibson nut width 1 11/16. Not quite as big the 1958 JR I owned, but large. Similar to the 50th Anniversary 1958 Custom Shop ES-335. The pickups are Burstbucker 3 in the bridge and Burstbucker 1 in the neck. The hardware is nickel. The only thing that has been changed on this guitar are the strings, which are .10's. The action is very low, the guitar is professionally set up and ready for your next tour, gig, recording session or addition to any collection. It is a feather weight and is under eight pounds. My scale registered 7.5. This guitar is listed as used, but know that it is in excellent condition. I could not find any dings. It was used at one gig and for two months of recording... I will only ship via two or three day air in the USA. I have set the shipping at $125.
