Original '57 classic humbuckers. Schaller locking strap buttons have been installed (I gigged ocassionally with this and gave it the protection of Schaller locking straps). This guitar has a great humbucker clean tone, and for some reason has a superior sound for classic crunch and distortion. I am the original owner of this USA made instrument and its Gibson seriel number is:017860326Although it has been used and has gigged, I took exceptional care of this guitar. There are wear marks on the humbucker cover plate corners. There are a few slight dings and scratches on the guitar - very slight. Amazing condition for a guitar has been played and gigged.Original Gibson hardshell case that it came with is included. The case has signs of more scratches dings and tears that you would expect from road use as you can see in the pics. I'm going to start this as a .99 cent NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, I need the buyer to agree to pay the full cost of shipping. I will pack it in a 47 x 7 x 20 box, and after packing I am estimating it wil l be 20lbs. This is a 1952 Telecaster Made in Japan , I made some upgrades for ex:New CTS 250k Pots ,and vintage cloth wire and a new Mojo Dijon 22nf 630v Capacitor and vintage [103k ] ceramic disk to improve the sound of the guitar, also a new 1/4 Switchcraft Jack, Fender Gold tuning Keys, and a new Glendale heavy duty Cup, a heavy duty 3 way swicht .The Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan and a Fend er 52 Bridge Pickup. Body and Neck and Bigsby From Fender Japan, one more item an ACME Black Pickguard . The Guitar sounds Great 100% Fender 52 Telecaster. The Neck has small Vintage Frets almost in mint condition, The Neck has a Soft-V- Contour Shape 7.25 radius, and easy to play.Now about the condition of the Guitar and Neck. The neck has two small dents at the very end by the neck pickup area, The Body has two cosmetic cracks only on the paint finish, and a small finish chip in the neck pocket, and a small wood chip in the neck pocket area , the only way you can see by removing the pickguard. I used conductive Shield Paint in the cavities ,it helps reduce noise from the pickups, The front finish of the body has some scratches and some visible lines, you can't hardly see them at all.The Back of the Guitar has 3 coats of Clear Satin Nitro Finish, I think it sounds better.The Guitar c omes in a Hard Fender USA Case, and will be very well protected in a Big Guitar Box. Fender Squier Vintage Modified JAGUAR Olympic White w/Johnny Marr MODS & GIG BAG

2012 Fender Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar in excellent condition as pictured. This is a cool guitar, but I can't quite get comfortable with the 24" scale (my other guitars have baseball bat type necks). I've made the following modifications to improve the guitar (and make it a lot more like an expensive Johnny Marr mo del):* Upgraded bridge pickup -- to Seymour Duncan Vintage model for more authentic tones (original overwound pickup also included)* Bypass rhythm circuit controls -- not only are they useless to most people, but they load the circuit and suck tone even when not in use (note that the Johnny Marr model does not have a rhythm circuit)* Modify switching circuit -- changed "strangle" switch to a phase switch and added series pickup option. This gives 6 possible tones: neck, bridge, neck+bridge parallel in-phase (the normal 3) PLUS neck+bridge series parallel out-of-phase (great with distortion), neck+bridge series in-phase (sounds like a humbucker), and neck+bridge parallel out-of-phase (quacky/funky)* Upgraded pots and cap -- 250k audio taper CTS pots and film cap get rid of the ice pick highs and give you a more useful taper but retain all the jangle, twang, etc.* White pickguard -- original tortoise shell also includedBonus "Hootenanny" strap and Fender gig bag included. I wi ll also include an extra set of DR Tite Fit 12 gauge strings, which a re what it's currently strung with.
