Up for auction is a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique. This was from the Guitar of the Week program for Gibson. This is the week 27 variation with only 400 made. Mahogany back, neck and top with rosewood fingerboard with antique binding on neck,body and headstock. Crown headstock logo with Classic truss rod cover, 57 classic pickups, amber top hat knobs with nickel hardware. The guitar is in very good condition with only usual play wear marks here and there. There ore no breaks or repairs in guitar or any of the binding. The electronics work properly with no issues and are bone stock. The finish on the guitar was listed from the factory as Faded Cherry. It is beautiful on the mahogany top and obviously from the pics is a gloss finish and should not be confused with the dull faded variations that gibson has offered on other instruments. As far as the play wear on the guitar there are the usual fine scratches here and there and some very slight buckle indentions on the back. They would not come out in the photos and none of them are through the finish. The neck is what I would call their 60's profile as it is noticeably smaller than my other les pails with the 50's neck profiles. It is straight with no issues-truss rod function is smooth. The stock Gi bson snakeskin pattern case is included with the guitar. It is in great shape-all latches work-lock works-was never set-still has red plastic tumbler holder in it. Interior and exterior are in good shape as you can see in the pics. The auction is for guitar and case only-no case candy or pick guard. The guitar was never drilled for one and I don't know if they even came with this G.O.W. version. No warranty is offered or implied from seller on this item. Payment by paypal only and is due within 48 hours of auction end. Shipping is to lower 48 states only. No international shipping. Guitar will be packed properly in an actual guitar shipping box.
