Up for auction is this nice made in Japan Stratocaster with hard case and Fender strap. I found this guitar several months back. I love it but bought it to resell. I am old and do not play much electric. I use to but since I found the Taylor acoustic of my dreams I just don't bother plugging in. I will tell you what I know about this guitar. It was originally purchased new by the last owner in 1995 and he was the only owner. It plays great! Nice neck and the frets are in fine shape. There is some cosmetic damage on the bottom corners as you can see. I will attach what I found when I ran the serial number... Guitar Info Your guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japanin the Year(s): 1994 - 1995 Fuji String Instrument Production Corporation Fuji String Instrument Production Corporation was opened in may 1960, they initially started manufacturing violins and quickly switched to classical guitar production. In 1962 electric guitar construction was started. Fujigen has a reputation for excellent quality and craftsmanship so the guitars they produce are highly regarded. They produce guitars via OEM for famous brands such as Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha and Fender (the import Special Interest Group nature model), G&L and others. I have played this instrument quite a bit and here is what you can expect. The jack is a little worn and will crackle at times. I found that by running the line over the strap to keep it secure it does not do it at all. This is an easy fix if you so choose. Also the switch does well if you don't try to change modes on the fly. Not always but occasionally it will loose conection if you do so. If you leave it in one mode it does just fine. Also another easy fix. The contacts are probably dirty or if you switch up alot you might want a new one. It is missing the back cover as you can see. I was told the original owner had put new springs on it and it was miss placed. The neck is perfect and the tuners are great too. It stays in tune. She really has a nice feel and sweet sound. I have played all types of Fender guitars and I rate this one up there with the U.S.A. made for sure. I am not trying to make a killing off this guitar thus my low opening bid . I just hope it goes to a person needing a great instrument at a decent price. I give away as many guitars as I sell. My first guitar was given to me. The case is in very functional condition but has seen its better days. It still closes tightly and all the latches and hinges are good. It also holds the guitar securely. I am an honest seller. Check our feedback.  ... Click for more info
