This is a very special guitar; 1 out of a run of 100 that John Cruz built for the Fender Custom Shop in 2006 to come as close as possible to the factory specs and woods of a 1956 Strat. He took extra care in finding one beautiful piece of feather-light swamp ash for the body; no lamination or seams. The neck, too, is a lovely specimen of maple. It weighs about 7 and 1/2 lbs. Originally listed for over $7000.
