Price: 520.0
Up for sale is my 2009 Custom Shop Pro Strat (factory relic job). This stratocaster is a souped up MONSTER! This guitar has a two-piece, nitro-finished body (with S/S/S routing). The neck is finished like the Clapton strat with a satin acrylic finish and has that nice big headstock reminiscent of the '70s strats.  Pop-in whammy bar. This is the description from the Musician's Friend page (I provided the link below): "a select alder body, modern C-shaped mapl e neck with 12" radius round-laminated fingerboard (as noted, maple or rosewood) and 22 medium jumbo frets. Three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless Stratocaster pickups, five-way switching and Greasebucket tone circuit, new deluxe two-point synchronized tremolo bridge with polished stainless steel saddles and block, Sperzel Trim-Lok staggered tuners, LSR roller nut, contoured heel for easier access to upper frets and a three-ply parchment pickguard. Comes with guitar case, strap locks, cable, polishing cloth, Certificate of Authenticity (see the picture).  Comes with the black, rectangular Custom Shop tolex case. The SCN pickups have been replaced with Fender Hot Noiseless pickups as found in the Jeff Beck signature strat, so essentially what you have here is a sunburst, Jeff Beck strat with a maple fretboard! Plays phenomenally, 6105 frets are in great shape.  Still has the original Greasebucket wiring though.  Of course, it's been gently used since 2009, so I have to say there's some fret wear (I can't really tell, though...)... There 's a bit of fret sprout as it's pretty dry up here in South Dakota and I have radiator heat in my home.  Nothing a bit of humidity or a little fret dress won't take care of.  The other day I plugged it in and it crackled and popped when I plugged into the input jack...hasn't since, though...just wanted you to know. Check out my Feedback, it's 100% still.  I try very hard to be accurate and fair in my descriptions; I take good care of my customers.  i still believe a man's word is his bond...  When I say this is a nice guitar, I mean it.  There's a used black one on the Musician's Friend site for $3827.99: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/fender-custom-shop-stratocaster-pro-re... Phone Number000?condition=used#used The reason I am selling it is because I am getting ready to move and will be spendi ng some time living in temporary accommodations. Don't have room for all my gear.  Will also be posting a Fender Vintage 57 Hot Rod reissue as well.I will cancel the auction one day before the end date if I don't see it's been bid up to $1800...that is the absolute lowest price I can let it go for (and I'll still be losing money at that cost).  If it goes for over $2,000, I will ship for free to the continental U.S.This is also for sale locally on Craigslist, so if you like it, bid on it...don't wait as it may be gone.I could email ...
