Hello. Up for auction is a 1980 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar in antigua finish. This auction also includes the original hardshell case, bridge cover, tremelo arm, two allen wrenches, strap, hang tags, serialized manual, and the original hand written bill of sale. All of the case candy is original to this guitar. We just took this guitar in this afternoon. To say that we're completely blown away by this piece would be a gross under statement. This one owner guitar was barely even played and is in mint condition......it's as clean as you can possibly get for a used guitar, especially considering that it's over 30 years old. No signs of play wear any where and incredibly clean. There are some parts of the finish on the body and neck that have darkened a reddish color from being stored in the case for so long which is a common thing to see on these. This is as complete as you can possibly get.....everything is 100% original and ALL of the original case candy is included. Everything functions just as it should with no issues at all. Everything is original with no mods or repairs.Our tech just set it up with a fresh set of strings and it plays like a dream with nice low action. The neck is a very comfortable profile and is super eas y to get around on. This piece is resonant, very well balanced, and ultra responsive...it sounds absolutely amazing! This is an awesome guitar with absolutely no issues and does not disappoint. This tone machine sounds fantastic and has got all the classic Strat vibe that anyone could ever hope for. Our reserve is much less than any comparable instrument has sold for on ebay recently. I can guarantee that you will not find a Strat out there from this era in this finish, this clean, or this complete......especially not for this price.
