This is a beautiful and 100% original Gibson Les Paul Gary Rossington limited edition signature model (#26 of 250) designed and aged by burst master Tom Murphy in the Nashville Custom Shop in 2002. Widely considered to be the most collectable and authentic custom shop burst ever made this guitar looks and plays as close to an original burst as you will ever find. This guitar is in new condition with very little fret wear and completely original and has been professional set up so it is playing and sounding great. This LP will ship with its original brown hard shell case along hang tags, certificate of authenticity, blank registration card and all other case candy that originally came from the factory. If you are familiar with these guitars then you know that the aging and craftmenship that went into these guitars is simply amazing and this one in particular looks very much like a real burst with beautiful grain patterns and some very unusual birdseye knots and mineral streaks. The guitar weighs approximately 9 lbs 2 ounces and is very well balanced. The neck is straight and very comfortable with a nice worn in feel that to me makes these guitars worth every penny. Tone is amazing played through various amps and is loud and woody unplugged. Has just the right amount of mids an d high end sparkle along with great sustain making this an ideal guitar for rock and blues.
