Up for bids is this Vintage Rare 1966 Fender Mustang Bass Guitar  **Stamped ES (Entered Special)** This is a great vintage guitar in overall good shape for its' age. The special part about this guitar is that underneath the pickguard, it is stamped "ES" which means entered special.  This was used when making a special ordered paint for custom jobs. The pickups are Dual Single Coil Pickups marked 1966. Finished in Dakota Red, this 1966 Mustang features an Alder body with nitrocellulose lacquer. It is all original with the exception that it's foam mute pads have been replaced at one time. The one piece bolt on maple neck features a C shape profile, rosewood fretboard with dot inlays and, of course, the Mustang 30" short scale length. Other features include the Mustang split single coil pickup, Mustang bridge with 4 individually adjustable saddles. I have taken off the neck to show the initials and numbering when this guitar was made.  I am assuming according to the initials and numbering ,that this is the original neck for this body. PLEASE READ IN THE ITEM CONDITION FOR DETAILS ON CONDITION. Vintage Rare 1966 Fender Mustang Bass Guitar  **Stamped ES (Entered Special)**   good vintage shape cracked and chipped faceplate.  There is a corner broken off the faceplate but is included. faceplate screws are crooked surface scratches on back a few dings and scratches on the base wood Nice vintage wear on neck headstock has small chip in top right corner The saddles and the black bolts for the saddles were replaced with non original parts.  Everything else is original. Saddles were replaced with non Fender parts.  Please note that if you click on the pictures, you can get a zoomed-in view of the item.
