1997 American Standard Fender Stratocaster (built in the US at the Fender factory in California), and comes with hardshell Fender case. Natural finish, rosewood fretboard. Replacement DiMarzio pickups and Grover keys (both are high-end, professional-level customizations). This is a professional-level guitar that woul d retail new for over $1,400. It's in Excellent condition, neck is perfect, sound is outstanding, and there's nothing wrong with it at all other than some very minor scuffs on the back - a VERY well taken care of guitar. Typical retail price for a used model in this condition is about $1,200. The guitar is in near mint condition, The case has some minor wear and tear. The case was dropped without the guitar in it and has some very minor damage on the bottom that was repaired, Still very nice though. The auction includes the following items. The Guitar, The Fender Hardshell case, The strap lock ends and the original Fender strap attachment points and the screws. Additional pictures of my baby can be seen by request, I have an online album full of pictures, Just ask. Also the guitar is for sale locally as well so if it sells I reserve the right to end the auction. I got a message asking about the scuffs on the back of the guita r, They are literally so light I cannot capture them at all with a ca mera in any light. The scuffs are just very light "playing wear" from someones pants. They arent even bad enough to be called scratches, its basically just a small area of haze. When cleaned with guitar polish they do not show up at all, The guitar has no dings or damage, no scratches or gouges.  Folks for a 15 year old guitar I cannot tell you how good the condition is. Its amazing. Its not a "never been played" collector piece but its in simply amazing condition. The tone and sustain of this guitar sound so good it will make you cry. Its a true american legend. Reserve is $550, Thats HALF what the guitar is worth. I don't care for reserve auctions either but thats there for my protection, and more than a fair deal.  ...
