Item Description     Here we are offering a wonderful 2003 Gibson Reissue of the famous 1961 SG   Les Paul. Lovely wood grain on this one.     Serial number is 01403315     Tuners have been changed to Sprezels.   Frets have barely visible fretwear, with no divots , and they need no work at this   time.   Pretty much every one of these 61 reissues that we have had has been a   stunning instrument.   Really, I would far rather play a new one than the original, considering the   relative strength of the neck joints.   In any case, this guitar plays incredibly well: neck is nice and straight, truss rod   is functional...   Neck profile is on the larger side of the 1960 profile. Still, it is quite slender ,   wide and very playable.   Aside from the tuners, everything is original.   Action is set very low; as always, we suggest the winner of this fine instrument   take it to their favorite luthier to set up the action and intonation to suit your   personal taste.   Sounds fantastic; has that wonderful sweet singing thing going on; oh, and yes   it does rock like Hell!!!!   The original case is in functional condition, although the locking mechanism   has been , uh , disabled....and is non functional.     Has minor normal playing wear, but overall is in excellent, original condition.     Please look at all the pictures and read our policys Before Bidding!
