Hello, up for auction is my Fender Hot Rod 57 Stratocaster. I have had my time with this Stratocaster and this baby is the best I have ever used. Unfortunately I have come across my dream guitar and I must sell this to pay for it. Only modifications to this guitar was the professional installation of the black 3 ply p ickguard because the 1 ply white had warped. Strings on this guitar have been changed once and they are still .10-.46 and is setup for E Standard tuning.Also included will be the headstock tag with serial number. Also included will be World Tour 20mm Deluxe Gigbag, which has never been used and I have 2 of those and they are real sturdy.The Stratocaster was purchased no more than 5 months ago. It was purchased off zZounds. Original receipt will be included.The Strat was used for in-studio sessions only. It hasn't left the room since I received it. It was only played by me. It has minor fingerboard stains due to the fingerboard being maple and of lacquer. (Picture 10-->) The body has a small arm rest stain where the lacquer was starting to diminish and a tiny ding no more than 1mm wide in the same area. Beside these minor blemishes the body is near perfect. The headstock is perfect condition and the back of the neck is perfectly ready to play. When I first used it the neck was sticky and now it is perfect due to normal use, not by sanding i t. The V neck is the best neck, It plays like a dream, that alone makes this Strat worth while.The noiseless cobalts are sweet without that 60 cycle hum and come close to single coils and better than the Lace Golds, the Dimarzio just rips through the amp with that loudness and raw sound perfect with a big muff and rat.
