This is an all original Fender Jaguar from 1972. This is now on open auction so i'm just gonna let it roll.....This is a really nice ORIGINAL vintage instrument in near new condition, save for a few very minor dings and a little bit of worming on the backside (see pics). Considering it is a 40 year old, it has been very well taken care of. Ori ginal finish in excellent condition. All original electronics work great, completely unmolested and the original pickups are strong and sound fantastic. (neck measured 6.34k, bridge 6.67k on my meter at the p/u leads, nice set! ) Original tortoise guard is beautiful nitrocellulose and in great shape. Neck is straight and has a medium rounded profile, not a wimpy skinny. Only issue at all is a minor binding repair towards the nut on the treble side, the very tip was replaced and although it doesn't match perfectly it was laid in well. (It could easily be re-done perfectly) (see pic). Original dark even-colored rosewood fingerboard is tight and smooth is in outstanding condition and the original inlays are gorgeous with no real shrinking. Original factory frets are in very good shape and the guitar plays well. I carefully pulled the guard and control plates just to verify it is completely virgin ;inside, which it is. I am pretty darn sure the neck has never b een off and I guarantee it is original. If you need it pulled ask. I did blacklite it, original finish is ALL NITROCELLULOSE both body and neck. The original owners manual is in good shape, however it's missing it's front cover and it has the original owners name,address and phone# written on it. Original trem arm and bridge cover in great shape. This one's a winner folks. For now this listing is for the USA only, however if you are interested and elsewhere just ask.
