Gibson 1956 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue - R62005 model. Pristine condition. Looks so close to new you'll be amazed. Great weight (8 lbs 11 oz.) Comfortable 50s style neck. Not overly fat...just right!Dark rosewood board (may be Madagascar based on year of manufacture, but have not verified with Gibson).Very resonant played unplugged with balanced tone top to bottom Super authentic gold color on top and beautiful rich amber tint on back. Just stunning to look at.Plays like butter, rings and chimes...and of course rocks. Superb range of tones all just by using the volume and tone knobs. This is hands down the best R6 I have played. If you are in the market for one, this is as good as it gets. 2005 was a good year for the Gibson custom shop. Comes with original historic case, custom shop certificate, and case candy, as pictured.
