Up for no reserve auction is a 2011 Gibson Flying V with the factory installed Floyd Rose Tremolo in Vintage White. This guitar will be shipped in it's original hardshell case with all the case candy and in the original factory box. This Limited Run Flying V is very clean with just a small bit of cosmetic wear here and there. This instrument is in perfect working condition with no structural issues and all of the electronics work as they should. The neck is straight and true with a fully working truss rod. The Floyd Rose Tremolo works perfectly and comes back right in tune every time. This guitar is a Killer Hard Rock Machine. Along with the Floyd Rose this guitar features a all Mahogany body and neck, Grover tuners and a Obeche fingerboard that looks like Ebony. The case is super clean with just a little Tolex wear in a couple of spots. My house is cigarette smoke free. The guitar is super light and easy on the back.The upgrades include a Dimarzio Tone Zone pickup in the bridge position, a Dimarzio 500k custom taper volume pot, a Dimarzio 500k pull pot in the tone position, Shaller Strap Locks and a Tremolo Stabilizer in the tremolo cavity. The Tone Zone adds low end and midrange, sounds awesome and compliments the Floyd Rose system very well. The Dimarzio pots sound and work mil es better than the original Gibson pots which will be included. The t one pot is the pull variety and it will engage a coil tap option for all three positions on the pickup selector. Another reason I went with the Tone Zone is that it sounds great when tapped to a single coil sound. The Tremolo Stabilizer is set to dive only mode and this allows for much greater tuning stability, truer double stop bending, greater palm muting and even drop D tuning. You can reverse and disengage this device or simply remove it and go back to stock if you wish. I use them on all my Floyd Rose guitars. The guitar currently has Shaller Strap Locks installed but the original Gibson buttons will be included.This guitar is in very clean condition with just a little bit of light and normal player wear on it. I've taken it on about 20 gigs. It's not cosmetically perfect so please make a note of this. There are a couple of dings and the most notable one is pictured near the neck-body joint by the neck pickup. None of the dings or scratches go through to t he wood. There are a few clear coat finish scratches on the back of the neck in the lower fret region. They've never bothered me while playing the guitar. There is some light strum scratching and a few scuffs at the headstock. Nothing major or I would have pictured it.
