It is with great sadness I must let go if my prized Gibson SG Standard. I have grown accustomed to thinner necks and therefore I must let her go. This is a 1997 Gibson SG Standard in Heritage Cherry. I have upgraded the guitar to include Iommi Signature humbuckers and Sperzel locking tuners, as well as "speed" tone and control knobs. This guitar is set up perfectly and has a nice low action. She stays in tune perfectly thanks to the setup and the Sperzels. I am the sole owner of this g uitar. It has been with me since 1997. The neck is nice and straight. There is some normal wear on the guitar and a couple of "character marks" (nicks). Note the side profile picture - the nick is in the side. There are some very minor nicks on the headstock as well. This guitar has never been dropped, gigged with or abused. She has been at home with me since I bought her. Aside from what I described above, this guitar looks and sounds AMAZING.
