Up for sale is a 2001 Gibson Les Paul Custom in stunning ebony. This is hands down the best sounding and playing guitar I have ever owned. It pains me to sell it, but I have a lot of holiday bills to pay so it has to go. The guitar is all original, no breaks or repairs. It does have a few marks from light playing and some minor discoloration on a small part of the binding, normal wear for a guitar that is over ten years old. The cas e is in fantastic shape and has no tears or wear on the outside, extremely clean for a guitar this old. The guitar will be shipped in Gibson packaging, I will also add tracking and insurance to the item when it is shipped out. I will start the guitar with a low price and no reserve so the guitar will go to the highest bidder.I have sold many guitar and music related items on ebay before and I have never had an unhappy customer, check my feedback and see for yourself. So I guess I should address a few points:1. I am not sure what the exact profile is for the neck. To me it feels more like a 60's style neck, its not super thin like some gibsons I have played, but its doesn't feel chunky like a 50's style neck. If you google it you may be able to find the exact specs for the 2001 Les Paul Custom.2. As to the exact weight of the guitar I am unsure as well. I already have the guitar boxed up so I don't want to to through the hassle of unpacking it, weighing it and then repacking. I have played some 70's Les Paul Customs that weighed 14 pounds, this is nowhere near that heavy. It feels comparable to my friends 2011 Les Paul Studio Special in terms of weight. If I had to make an educated guess I would say somewhere between 7 and 9 pounds but I'm not 10 0 percent sure.3. I received some questions about marks on the guitar.
