What I got here is a 2006 Epiphone SG G-400. Solid Mahogany body with a set mahogany neck and rosewood fret board. I loved the feel and playability of the guitar but the electronics sucked. I wanted this to be my number 2 guitar to my Gibson. So what I did was up grade my 1993 Les Paul with newer stuff and put the 490R and 498T pickups with gold cove rs, all the pots and electronics, gold Tune O Matic bridge and stop piece and gold Gibson Deluxe tuning machines on the Epiphone. All I can say is wow! What a evil axe. The guitar has been played and there some dings and what not but the frets are still all there and the neck feels better than my Gibson. The action is super low and the neck is straight. The gold hardware is road worn being 20 years old and looks cool. I just got a new Gibson SG Standard so the Epiphone must go. I tell ya I'm gonna miss it. I do not have a case but ill package it up properly.
