I picked this very nice Gibson SG Les Paul Custom Reissue with Maestro Vibrato off of Ebay a few years back. I had seen one of Alice Coopers guitarists with one on the back of the album Love it to Death and I always thought they were one of the most cool Gibsons ever made. I also picked up an SG in Polaris White like one that I owned back in 1971 and the two are very similar. I decided that I prefer for my purposes the P-90 pickups so this one has been a very pretty piece sittin in the case for the last several years. It is near mint, I would say a 9.5 out of 10. Fortunately every flaw photographed well all except for one very small not through the finish ding about an inch above the front end of the neck pickup. As you can see from the picks there is a ding on the edge of the headstock, a finish crack the kind of forms a circle on the top fin at the point and a white circle area on the bottom of the lower fin. All of these are visible in the pics and are accurate. I just checked Musiciansfriend,com and they are going discounted new for 4495.00 more or less so I am going to let the market decide the value of this and start the auction at 5.00 with no reserve. Shipping will be $30. I offer a three day inspection period after receiving the item and will refu nd your money less return shipping if you are not satisfied for any r eason. I list it as no returns because ebays minimum 14 day inspection period is ridiculous!!!!!! So good luck bidding because you will be bidding to win. This is a no reserve auction. I am not sure of the year of manufacture but I photographed the serial number so you can go to the Gibson website and find out. I think it is a 2004 but not sure.
