Details 1989 Gibson LP StandardHow the heck did this one sneak through the years without getting played? For your consideration is a super clean Les Paul Standard that plays like butter. It has a nice dark cherry sunburst finish on the maple top, one piece mahogany body, one piece mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard that has a really nice and streaky grain pattern. The neck pickup is nice and bluesy with the bridge being pretty hot at 13k to kick your amp a little harder. They are four conductor pickups but it is wired standard. It has been very well cared for over the years. There are some light marks throughout the guitar, a few very small paint chips around the perimeter and some light buckle rash on the back but overall it is very clean. No cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no mods and all original. It looks to have spent most of it's time in a case and there is next to no fretwear too. Don't let this one sit in a case any longer, this beauty deserves to be played! It's nice an d resonant with sustain for days like a good Gibson should.
