This is an auction for a SUPERB original 1963/64 Fender Telecaster which has had a body only refin or strip down in natural wood. Neck finish is 100% original as is the decal and fingerboard etc.It is VERY RARE to see early 60's Tele's now, they are nowhere near as common as Strats from the same period. Try and find another, especially as good as this!! As an added bonus this is one of the nicest playing and sounding Tele's I have seen!Only issues I can see apart from the stripped down body is the pickguard is a 50's style modern replacement and the neck pickup has been changed. Frets have been levelled but they are still quite playable, included is a non original, non Fender tweed type case.Serial number is L37700, neck date is June 1963 and both pots date to 22nd week of 1964. Tuners are the original single line Kluson's and the original blonde finish can still be seen in the neck pocket.Please have a good look at the 20+ high resolution photos I have posted to see the cool condition this guitar is inPickups are nicely balanced and responsive, It plays great and sounds really nice..! and has no breaks, repairs anywhere.This is a no reserve auction and the highest bid takes it.
