This is an exceptional SG Select which I purchased new in 2009. It is in perfect working condition and near perfect cosmetic condition with only the slightest bit of play wear. There are no dings and no buckle rash. The finish is shiny and gorgeous. This guitar retailed for $2600 when it was still available and I have upgraded it with a Tone Pros bridge and Feather Light tail piece (the original bridge and tail piece are included) . I've also had it professionally set up with a Buzz Feiten tuning system.When Gibson released these guitars, they offered them in three colors, transparent black, transparent cherry and natural. The black and cherry versions retailed for $2500 and they charged an extra $100 for the natural versions. I was told this was because Gibson used the most pristine cuts of wood for the natural versions as there was no stain to hide flaws in the wood. This is an absolutely beautiful SG and I have yet to see one that is more striking. It plays like any high end Gibson electric, perfect.
