Used Gibson ES 335 Dot semi-hollow body guitar in what I would call good to very good condition. I would give it a 7 out of 10. Guitar is a 2003. I have owned this guitar for about five years and never had it outside of the house. It has spent it's years hanging on the wall of my studio, only being played occasionally. Rock is more my sty le so I have the action set low and strung with 9's which plays very smooth in my opinion. The frets have been dressed and in good shape with only a couple frets near the head are showing any wear. There are no major scratches and only one minor ding on the body. The ding is on the back and bottom of the head stock- see the picture. Must have happened when putting guitar onto wall hook. Doesn't effect the way the guitar plays but I don't want any surprises for a buyer either. There is some belt buckle rash in the clear coat on the back but not into the finish. The clear coat shows some signs of polishing swirls and the pick guard has pick scratches but no pick scratches to speak of on the body. The chrome finished hardware has not retained its original shine. You can see in the pictures how the pickup covers, bridge and tuners have tarnished. Seems to be a common problem with other Gibson guitars that I have owned as well. Included is the solid, original locking (but I don't know the combination) Gibson case which had some scrapes and a littl e paint slopped. That is same condition that I received it in. I really hate to sell this guitar since an ES 335 was always on my wish list but I just bought a motorcycle I need to sell some of my equipment. Since I have found over the years that prefer the slimmer, smaller body of a Fender, I decided to sell the two bigger body guitars that I have. I always strive to do my best in describing and photographing anything that I sell on ebay so buyers are well informed. I have been disappointed when buying so called "excellent condition" items on ebay so I never want the same for anybody that buys my items.
