This is 1 of 7 all black 1958 Gibson Les Paul 's. Built in the Gibson Historic Custom Shop.There were only 7 all black Les Pauls produced in 1958 by custom order. Gibson decided in 1997, to reproduce this exact guitar and only make only 7 like the original. Thoroughbred Music in Tampa was commisioned to sell all 7. This is one . I got this from a friend who got it back in 1998. He had it aged by Melody Customs. He also is a personal friend of Fred Stuart,worked for Fender Custom Shop for years, custom designed close to original as possibile, PAF pickups. These are in the guitar and sound like real PAF's.
