Ty Tabor's Custom 2003 Gibson Les Paul SpecialTy originally bought this guitar as a gutted body and neck with a horrible paint job. After repainting he installed hot Dragonfire humbuckers, 500k volume and tone pots, Grover tuners, additional hardware, and a switch for bypassing one side of each pickup making them single coil without all of the noise!This guitar has been played heavily on Ty's upcoming so lo album as well as on the upcoming Jelly Jam album.The neck had previously been broken at the headstock but was professionally repaired. (Look closely at the pictures. The neck has never posed a problem.) The finish is a Ford red with a clear coat that didn't bond very well with the paint and will come off easily. See pictures for scratches and dings. At some point this guitar will probably need to be lightly sanded and have a better clear coat applied. The guitar has a great feeling neck and sounds killer.
