Hello. Up for auction is a 1983 Fender American Standard Stratocaster electric guitar. This auction also includes a hardshell case, the tremelo arm, the original pickups, and the original wiring harness. We just took this guitar in on consignment and are very impressed. This one owner guitar was played but very well cared for. There are a few tiny pick scratches here and there but certainly nothing major or inconsistent with a guitar of this age. Everything functions just as it should with no issues at all. This guitar had the pickups upgraded to Noiseless pickups. The wiring harness was also upgraded when the install was one. The original pickups and harness are also included. Aside from that, everything is original with no mods or repairs. The case functions perfectly but does show a little bit of aesthetic wear on the exterior. Our tech just set it up with a fresh set of strings and it plays like a dream with nice low action. The neck is a very comfortable profile and is super easy to get around on. This piece is resonant, very well balanced, and ultra responsive...it sounds absolutely amazing!&nbs p; This is an awesome guitar with absolutely no issues and does not disappoint. This tone machine sounds fantastic and has got everything you'd expect from one of these early 80's Strats. Our reserve is much less than any comparable instrument has sold for on ebay recently.
