The Fender Telecaster Deluxe is a solid-body electric guitar originally produced from 1972 to 1981. Fender has began building a reissue model in 2004 as the '72 Telecaster Deluxe, though this is not a reissue ! This is an original production vintage model ! This guitar was built circa late 1973 or early 1974, and is in fine condition for it's age ! Natural finish over a three piece solid ash body. Chrome hard tail bridge with fully adjustable individual saddles. Dual Seth Lover designed Wide Range humbucker pickups ! Hard maple neck with maple fingerboard. Large "Snoopy" style Stratocaster headstock design ! Black pickguard with black dome knobs. Fender branded Deluxe chrome tuners. Three bolt micro-tilt neck design ! Chrome Fender neck plate with serial number. This guitar is in overall excellent shape for it's age ! It has had a professional refret done recently, and the frets feel fresh and new ! It was also given a complete set up, and given a clean bill of health from Rice Custom Guitars in Chicago ! There is some slight swirling and hazing on the pickguard and pickup covers from the use of a pick, but otherwise you would be hard pressed to find any real blemishes ! This guitar looks great, and sounds fantastic ! Great action, great sustain, and ready to play ! This guitar begs you to pick it up ! If you have the skills, it has the sound !
