This is an auction for a LOVELY original vintage 1962 Fender Jaguar which has a very old Candy Apple Red refinish and has a great patina and vibe - in fact the natural ageing of the body looks just about right and it does not really look like a refinished guitar at all!I think the neck has the original finish on it, but it looks like there are some spots of clear overspray in places, or possibly a very old partial refin and the decal is missing. As far as I can tell all hardware is original apart from the frets. All electrics look original and it really does sound very nice and plays well.As you can clearly see from the pictures, it has nicks and dings all over as it has been a working guitar and not a museum piece! In my opinion this only goes to enhance the vibe of this classic vintage guitar.There have been no breaks, cracks or repairs anywhere and there are no extra holes or routes anywhere. All nail holes are still visible in the body and you can see the pin router holes in the neck etc. Serial number is L60190, neck date is Sept 1962 and the pots date to the 32nd week of 1962. There is one knob missing, no trem arm and no case but the guitar will be very well packed for transportation.Please see the many high resolution photos I have posted to see the cool condition this guitar is in.
