This is an auction for a STUNNING 1977 Gibson Les Paul 3 pick-up Custom Artisan model finished in stunning dark walnut with original hard case and is all original apart from the pickups and strap buttons.The condition of this beauty is so excellent very nice - just have a look at the photos... The finish has faded slightly to a nice mellow hue and the binding has yellowed well. There are a few dings here and there but overall it is a lovely guitar in great condition for being 35 years old.It is rare to find factory original '70's 3PU Customs or Artisans these days and this one is a great example in a cool finish.Please have a good look at the 28+ high resolution photos I have posted to fully appreciate the cool condition this beautiful guitar is inSerial number is 06204425 and all 4 pots date to the 18th week of 1977 I think the pickups are Di Marzio's Super Distortion which are nice and hot and would be period correct for 1977. Guitar plays really well with a fantastic low action and the original wide frets are still in great condition. It will be a while before it requires a re-fret. Weight is 4.4Kg which is not that bad for these guitars! There are no breaks, cracks or repairs anywhere it is completely solid as a rock and all finish is 100% original.This is a no reserve auction and the highest bid takes it. UK list price for these are over £loads each so therefore at 1p and NO RESERVE it may be a good bargain...I will post for the rates in the 'P&P and Payments' section, or you are more than welcome to collect.
